This warm Banana bowl is one of the best things on the planet. It is packed with potassium, fiber, protein, vitamin A, E and C, antioxidants, healthy fats and has zero sugar. It also happens to be delicious and beautiful. I mean, don’t you want to eat it now? right now?
Once the milk is warm, start mixing everything together, the heat is going to melt the almond butter. It will get a little thick, almost like the consistency of oatmeal. Do not boil! just make sure everything is well mixed, warmed through and serve it immediately.
Ingredients
- 1 Banana
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- Toping of choice (shredded coconut, blue berries, nuts, seeds.
Instructions
- In a small sauce pan add the almond milk, half of the banana, almond butter and cinnamon. Simmer on low heat.
- Once the milk is hot, mix everything together until well combined. Do not boil.
- Serve immediatly
I don’t have any almond milk or butter so I subbed cow’s milk and peanutbutter (forgive me!) but I used this recipe this morning for breakfast and it was SO GOOD! I’ll be making this again (and adding almond butter to my grocery list).
