Reese’s Cookie Blossoms

Jump to recipe

Today is officially our last day of school! whoa, what an adventure! I gotta say, even when I never turned down the possibility of homeschooling I never thought I would really do it, until COVID-19. I have enjoyed remembering things that I had completely forgot. I also learned a level of patience I didn’t know I was capable of having. I have the most appreciation for our teacher and an immense level of respect for homeschool, homemakers mothers. You ladies, are amazing.

We are planning spending the day making treats, playing with the sprinkler and eating pizza! I’ve seen this “Reese’s Cookie Blossoms” in almost every single Halloween party but I had never made them myself until now. I had a bunch of Reese’s cups left from Easter so, what better use than these. There’s really not a specific recipe for this, you can make them with peanut butter cookie dough, sugar cookie dough or chocolate chip cookie dough. Just be ready, they are incredibly rich and sweet. I know after 9 weeks of homeschooling, I NEED just that.

About

Hello, my name is Marisol Chancellor. I was born and raised in Monterrey Mexico. I’ve been living in Texas for 12 years, and even when I love barbeque, fruit cobblers, and sweet tea, there’s something that has the power of transporting me right back to my mom’s kitchen and gives me a little piece of home; cooking. I grew up in the kitchen and for me, memories are always linked to food, and behind the food, well, there’s always a story that comes along. So, please let me share with you my love for cooking and while we are at it, let’s share some memories, because let’s be honest, we are also hungry for nostalgia.
